Hello everyone and welcome to double gameweek 36! Waivers this week are due Friday at 3am PDT / 6am EDT! Full results are as follows:
- Matthew 42-45 Luke

- Scott 29-36 Darryan
- Kevin 60-37 Gavin
- Zach 43-34 Coop

Weekly Matchups
Just 3 weeks left! And status quo at the top of the table as the top 6 all win. That means Zach still has his 5 point lead over Darryan, who is 1 point above Jesse. Kevin sits 5 points outside the top 3, with Luke and Dylan (joined by MatthewR) keeping pace 3 and 4 points behind, respectively. I sit 3 points behind them, with 1 more win (or loss for Matt) confirming my top 8 spot. woooo
Game Changers! I also did not watch this week's matches so forgive any lack of details.
- Luke: Marcos Senesi - 14 pts - A huge week for the free-agent-to-be center back for Bournemouth as he won a penalty (I think?), kept a clean sheet, got 14 defcon, and scored all 3 bonus against Crystal Palace's 15 year olds.
- Dylan: Dominik Szoboszlai - 13 pts - Despite a horrendous Liverpool performance (I watched the highlights) the Hungarian picked up a goal, assist, and all 3 bonus points as Manchester United defeated them 3-2.
- Jesse: Adrien Truffert - 7 pts - Another Bournemouth defender who was on the field against Crystal Palace. Maybe play vs a team that is trying next time.
- Darryan: Granit Xhaka - 9 pts - A huge Wolves point as Xhaka rolled back the years by like 0.2 and picked up an assist, 14 defcon, and all 3 bonus points in the 1-1 match.
- Kevin: Viktor Gyokeres - 16 pts - 2 goals and an assist for the best Swedish striker in the Premier League as Arsenal added onto their goal difference with a 3-0 win vs Fulham… wait, City drew vs Everton?
- Zach: Bukayo Saka - 11 pts - The other first rounder from Arsenal on this list grabbed his 7th goal and 9th assist of the campaign in just 45 minutes as he eases back from injury.
One week into this 4 gameweek month and Dylan has the lead on 66 PF! Kevin sits at 60, with Luke and Zach both at 40+ as well!
Manager of the Month
Over on the form table, Zach takes the top spot with 15/15 points earned! Kevin and Jesse are the only managers with 12/15 points earned in the last 5 weeks!
Form Table
This week will see some great matchups, headlined by a must-win match for Jesse if he wants a shot at the title as he takes on Zach. Other interesting matches include Dylan facing off against in-form Kevin and Matt vs MatthewR! Full matchups are as follows:
- Gavin (12) vs Matthew (8) (all-time: 2-0-7, 318-393)
- Darryan (2) vs Coop (10) (all-time: 5-0-1, 257-224)
- Jesse (3) vs Zach (1) (all-time: 5-0-3, 296-320)
- Dylan (6) vs Kevin (4) (all-time: 8-0-4, 524-443)
- Luke (5) vs Scott (11) (all-time: 8-1-1, 461-341)
- Matt (9) vs MatthewR (7) (all-time: 1-0-5, 204-237)
Shoutout this week to Zach for his 5 winstreak! And to Kevin for 4 in a row and Jesse for 3!

Champions Cup
Hello everyone and welcome to the semi finals of the Champions Cup! Some nailbiters and some not-so-nailbiters in the quarter finals this week, with the former headlined by Zach's narrow 43-40 win against Morgs! Elsewhere, Mack picked up a big win over League B rival Chris 46-37 to punch her ticket to the semis. And here are the full matchups:
Top Half:
- Zach 43-40 Morgs
- Matt 38-21 MatthewR
Bottom Half:
- Jesse 28-45 Luke
- Chris 37-46 Mack
And with that, we are in our penultimate round! The matchups are:
- Zach vs Matt
- Luke vs Mack
Some really fun matchups, which should set up for an interesting final! Good luck to the semi finalists!
Knockout Stage
The Run In
League A
Not really anything happened this week as the (current) top 6 all won. That said, Zach vs Jesse will be a huge match, along with Kevin vs Dylan. Could be a very interesting week leading considering next week the (current) top 4 all play one another :eyes:
League A - Top 8
Matt and Coop continue on with the 4 point gap, and a win for Matt vs MatthewR (and a Coop loss) would secure him his spot in League A next season and send Coop to the playoff!
League A - Relegation Race
League B
And we see some movement this week at the top as ZachA's win vs John means I take 1st going into the final 3 weeks! John has a tough match this week vs Mack and I face off against Morgs to look to keep my place!
League B - Title Race
And we see movement into the promotion spots as Mack's win and Chris's loss means the former goes up to 4th! It's still dicey though with 3 weeks left and just 6 points separating Alex in 3rd and Morgs in 6th. And, with Alex vs Chris this week, Mack vs Chris next week, and Alex vs Mack in the final week, who even knows how this will shake out.
League B - Promotion Playoff Race
Power Rankings
On the bubble (in no order): Dylan, Chris, Morgs Fell off: None
10 - Matt (-) - League A - Last 5: 35 (W), 47 (W), 46 (L), 49 (W), 38 (L) - Sorry Matt, the power ranking curse got you. Pretty decent score though with Cunha scoring in his last game of the season, Murphy and Bruno Guimaraes and Matty Cash all getting assists, and Igor Jesus scoring his 4th goal in 5 games? He's a beast? Plus Reece James is back and surely will get the new manager + World Cup boost?
9 - Jesse (-3) - League A - Last 5: 49 (W), 43 (L), 66 (W), 31 (W), 28 (W) - That's back to back wins yet Jesse did score 31 or less both of those weeks, so not really sure what to make of that one. This week, Truffert (7), Garner (5), Cherki (5), Casemiro (4) contributed a solid 75% of his points and with Sarr/JSL focusing on the Conference League he's gonna need some Liam Delap magic in these last few weeks.
8 - Alex (+1) - League B - Last 5: 28 (W), 61 (W), 51 (L), 31 (L), 58 (W) - Alex snaps his losing streak with a real hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby moment as he added +48 to his PD. Just 4 players of his scored 3 or less, with 4 6 pointers, a Truffert 7, and a Szoboszlai 13 leading the charge. A solid performance from the squad giving the goat Jarrod Bowen a well-needed rest from carrying this team on his back. Plus, Dango is back to his penalty winning ways, so that's pretty huge. Thought he lost it for a bit there.
7 - Darryan (-2) - League A - Last 5: 28 (L), 32 (L), 73 (W), 24 (L), 36 (W) - Another limping toward the finish line sort of team that won this week from not a lot going on. Sure, Ballard took one for the team and got a red card vs Wolves (why??), but it wasn't enough when Saliba got a cs, Xhaka picked up 9 from his assist, Haaland scored his 25th of the season, and Evanilson has somehow gotten 4 assists in the last 5 weeks. Not a super convincing week from Ferdi/Justin/Summerville/Raul, however. Oh, and Darryan did leave Kelleher's 8 pointer on the bench. A classic.
6 - John (-2) - League B - Last 5: 32 (L), 51 (W), 73 (W), 31 (L), 36 (L) - That's 3 30-pointers in the last 5 for John as he joins Darryan and Jesse in this weird post-double lull. Okafor was a solid pickup this week with his 10 pointer, but Gabriel 6, Bruno 5, DCL 6, and Le Fee 4 pointers was not quite enough to pick up the win this week. And especially with rotation from Manchester United and Crystal Palace who knows how Bruno Fernandes/Canvot/Mateta will finish the season.
5 - Luke (+3) - League A - Last 5: 36 (L), 58 (W), 63 (W), 48 (L), 45 (W) - On the other hand, Luke has kept up his momentum post-double, with a classic 3-point victory for him over me (which seems to be the norm this season) and a solid week from most Senesi's 14 pointer. And I gues Mainoo and Thiago both scored, and Bijol got an assist, and famously-defensive fullback Pedro Porro hit defcon. But hey my man Cole Palmer missed a penalty to keep it close for me.
4 - Kevin (+3) - League A - Last 5: 24 (L), 51 (W), 66 (W), 34 (W), 60 (W) - So, Kevin scored 60 and over half of his points did come from 2 players. And actually, he somehow did only have 4 players this week with more than 4 points (and one guy with a split open face on 4 exactly). DCL had 6, JP had 8 because somehow a bicycle kick in the 94th minute while down 3-0 is worth 2 bonus points, Doku had 15 because he scored 2 screamers, and Gyokeres had 16 because he scored twice and assisted once and that is worth barely more than a midfielder who plays just as far up the pitch scoring 2. Anyway, if MGW can somehow play in the last few games and the rest of his 2 and 1 pointers from this week lock tf in, Doku/Gyokeres are in the form of their lives, so. yeah. +3
3 - Zach (-) - League A - Last 5: 33 (W), 51 (W), 80 (W), 37 (W), 43 (W) - Zach's just gotta weather the storm for a couple more weeks, but until then a solid 43 pointer as Saka and Osula combine for 20 points to make up for the myriad of 1s across his team. Oh, and Guehi, Bogle, and Sesko all got 4-5 points so that's pretty good. If only he could get Rogers to do… something… maybe just 2 more defensive contributions at least?
2 - Matthew2 (-) - League B - Last 5: 37 (W), 55 (W), 74 (W), 40 (W), 40 (W) - Why score more than 40 when 40 does the trick? And that's with the -2 from Ballard. I always knew the neighborhood I live in would let me down eventually smh. Anyway, my goat ~~Dubravka~~Stach ~~dove really late~~scored a worldie in his first week back from injury to pick up 10 points so that was nice. And Senesi's 14 pointer + Evanilson's assist + Thiago's goal was nice. Made leaving Hill's 10 pointer on the bench hurt a little bit less. Especially with Munoz/Rodon/Rogers/Anderson picking up a total of 3 points between them. But hey Salah will be back for a goodbye goal in GW38 so that's hype
1 - Mack (-) - League B - Last 5: 39 (L), 51 (W), 50 (W), 62 (W), 46 (W) - Another solid week from Mack led by Gyokeres (see: Kevin), while also featuring a number of Jesse's midfielders, and the cherry on top that is the Dan Burn 7 pointer. And that's with the Sels 8 pointer from saving Warm Palmer's penalty sitting the bench alongside Guehi's beautiful assist. Anyway, this is her worst score in 4 weeks at 46, so obviously the whole team needs to be replaced. If only Woltemade wasn't banished to the shadow realm for Ballon d'Or candidate William Osula.
Good luck all!
